So close....

well i am off in exactly one week! things are getting kind of crazy around here...between getting ready for christmas....and all the baking and being with family that is involved and then the complete opposite includes me stressing about packing and preparing to leave in a week for 9 months! Crazy! I am really looking forward to this experience in Perth. i have seen my sisters head off on YWAM and seen the positive memories they came back with...including all the close friendships they developed. I have been in contact with most of the students that will be a part of the Young Peoples dts through a facebook group which has been very nice to have...we have all met each other over that and been able to talk about our flights, our fears, being excited....and so many other things...us girls have a conversation going about all of us stressing with emotions and the packing issues! haha which is really nice to know that i am not the only one freaking out!

It is going to be a challenge heading out for 9 months away from my family and friends here...but i know and trust that those relationships will be strengthened through this time away from each other. And it is so reassuring to know that i will come back to friends and family to share all of my experiences with!

I am getting very excited to see what god has in store for me over in australia, and to build strong and solid relationships with new friends on the ywam base.
